Plymouth Chapter No. 49

Royal Arch Masons

Plymouth Chapter No. 49, Royal Arch Masons, located in Plymouth, Indiana, is part of the Masonic family of organizations that are dedicated to the ideals of Fraternity, Charity and Making Good Men Better.  There are no religious requirements of its members, other than a belief in a Supreme Being; and no political requirements.  Freemasonry is inclusive to all men of good character and unites all men; regardless of their faith, creed, race, sect and opinion.   Freemasonry is the largest and oldest fraternity in the world.

The Autism Resources of Marshall County and the Plymouth Chapter No. 49 partnership first began in the summer of 2013, with a meeting of two ARMC members and two Plymouth Chapter members for lunch.  ARMC, which had been formed in 2006, was looking for more support in the community and Plymouth Chapter had been looking for several years to find a way to contribute back into the community.  The lunch produced positive results, and after several meetings between the two groups, the partnership was formed.

In 2015, the partnership between Autism Resources and the Masons was solidified when they applied for and were granted a 501(c)3 designation as a non-profit corporation; which gives contributors more opportunity to donate with tax deductible capability.

Currently, the Board of Directors of ARMC consists of an equal number of members of the original ARMC group and Royal Arch Masons from Plymouth Chapter.
